Our aim
We aim for the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. We are working towards it and we test as we build. We have not yet had an outside audit, so we describe the site as partly meeting the standard until we have.
What you can do
- Accessibility menu. Use the button at the bottom left of every page. You can make text bigger, switch to high contrast, reduce or stop movement, and add reading space. Your choices are remembered on your device.
- Read aloud. The Accessibility menu can read the page to you, or just the text you select, with pause, stop and a speed control. It uses the voices already on your phone or computer, so the text is not sent to us. If your device only offers online voices, the menu tells you.
- Keyboard. Everything can be used without a mouse. There is a "Skip to content" link, and a clear outline shows where you are.
- Screen readers. Pages use proper headings and landmarks, buttons and links have names, and form errors are announced.
- Movement. We respect your device's "reduce motion" setting, and the menu lets you turn motion off on any device.
- Text size. Pages work when you zoom in to 200 percent.
- Videos. Our Academy videos come from YouTube and you can turn on captions in the player. We aim to add a written summary to every lesson video.
- Delegate card. You can position your photo with the zoom slider and the arrow keys, not only by dragging.
What is still rough
- Captions on third-party videos depend on the creator, and some may be missing or imperfect.
- The images made by the delegate card are pictures, so they have no text alternative inside the file. The page next to them has the same information as text.
- We have not yet tested with every screen reader and every phone.

If something is hard to use, please tell us. Email privacy@theoxygenchurch.org with the page and what went wrong, and say if you need the information in another form. We reply within 5 working days and we fix real barriers as fast as we can.
