Our promise
- Everyone who comes to an Oxygen or Summit event, or uses this site, has the right to be safe and treated with respect.
- We take every concern seriously and act on it.
- We keep only the personal details we need, and we keep them private. See the Privacy and Data Policy.
- Under-18s who register for the Summit confirm that a parent or guardian knows.
Online
- We do not show the names or details of young people on public pages without permission.
- Do not share your access code, password or private details with strangers.
- Nobody on the Oxygen team will ask you for your password.
At events
- Team members and volunteers are there to help. If you feel unsafe or uncomfortable, tell any team member straight away.
- We may refuse entry, or ask someone to leave, to keep people safe.
Worried about someone?
If you are worried about a young person or anyone at risk, or something has happened to you, please tell us. Email safeguarding@theoxygenchurch.org. Your message goes to the person responsible for safeguarding and is kept confidential. If someone is in immediate danger, contact the Nigeria Police Force or emergency services first.
